Arabic Beginners
Beginners A is for complete beginners; Beginners B is for people with the
equivalent of approximately 20 hours study and Beginners C for those with

Although the focus of this course is on speaking and listening, you will
learn Pinyin, a phonetic system of spelling Chinese using the Roman alphabet.
Pinyin will help you to pronounce correctly the sounds needed for Chinese
Mandarin. Levels B and C usually start immediately after the end of the

Japanese Beginners
Although the emphasis is on listening and speaking, you will learn Romanji,
a phonetic system of spelling Japanese using the Roman alphabet. Romanji
will help students to pronounce correctly the sounds needed for Japanese.
You will also learn the hiragana alphabet which is used to convey grammatical
ideas. Levels B and C usually start immediately after the end of the previous
